For the outstanding collection, which includes lighting, furniture and limited-edition objects, Aumont has partnered with some of the leading names in European design. Among the talented collaborators are Grégoire de Lafforest, Dan Yeffet, Christophe Delcourt, Arno Declercq and Dessuant Bone.

At once diverse and cohesive, Aumont’s collection - which he has dubbed objets de nécessité (necessary objects) keeps function at the forefront, whilst managing to elevate everyday staples, everything from paperweights to pen trays and sofas, into the realm of the ethereal. At times the collection takes on an almost ancient, ethereal presence with its use of archaic forms and sumptuous materials.

According to its founder, Collection Particulière aims to be an immersion into “daily life objects, where every single piece of furniture and every object is considered to be a sculpture, a piece with a true statement. A piece that does not immediately show its true nature.”
