Piet Hein Eek's Bed in Scrapwood is part of his reclaimed series of furniture, made entirely from recycled wood collected near his studio in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The bed has a classic sleigh bed form with artfully arranged planks of reclaimed wood. The bed is crafted meticulously using traditional woodworking technique.
Please note that the colorways shown are only examples of possible timber colors with a high gloss finish. Due to the found nature of the timber used, each bed will have a unique color combination. Piet Hein Eek will try to match requested colors palettes, but cannot guarantee an exact match. Please inquire directly for custom options, colors and finishes.

This item is available in two general color options - light colors (tones of light grey, natural, ivory, white, light colors) and dark colors (tones of brown, black, dark grey, dark navy, reds and greens).
The item is available in two finishes - fixated, which is a smooth, matte finish achieved from two to three coats of water based lacquer, or high gloss, achieved from over ten coats of a water based lacquer. The interior is finished with a water-based lacquer to a smooth, matte finish.
