Materials/Finishes

American black walnut finished with a Danish oil or black oil; American white oak finished with a Danish oil, white oil or oxidized finish; European Ash finished with a Danish oil, white oil, black stain, brown stain, or brushed/painted in a choice of brown RAL 8019, black RAL 8022, or white RAL 9010, and a range of fabrics.

Legs in taupe or black anodized aluminium. The Bretton legs are made from gravity die-cast aluminium and contain small defects that are inherent to the artisanal manufacturing process. These tend to be imperceptible once installed, and do not affect the overall appearance of the product.

Platform base is black stained MDF with holes for air circulation.

The bed base consists of two timber frames side by side, each with numerous individual timber slats, set approximately 2" apart.

Dimensions
Care

Please note that the Bretton legs are made from gravity die-cast aluminum. Small surface irregularities are a normal result of this production process, and once installed on the Bretton, these tend to be imperceptible. Each Bretton product will be sent with two legs with minimal surface irregularities for installation at the front, and two legs which may contain one or more cavities, for placement at the back.

Customizable

Dimensions and finishes are customizable.

Upholstery Requirements

When using Elmorustical leather to upholster the expansive surface of the headboard, De La Espada's craftspeople will use their discretion to ensure the natural variations in the hide's color and grain are most elegantly displayed. This may mean adding a central stitch line to the headboard.
