Dimoremilano's screens exemplify the house’s ineffable blend of design, art and fashion. Like all their products, each piece - one of which is part of the highly coveted Progetto Palmador collection - is designed as a piece of usable art or sculpture in its own right. Paravento 056 is a screen composed of two curved elements in oxidized brass. A contemporization of a 20th century staple, the studio’s screens can be used to divide the rooms of a house, or, when placed in large, grand spaces can be admired in the round. Here, as with all Dimoremilano's work, texture is at the forefront and a surreal world is conjured through the use of color, material and graphic forms, both geometric and organic.
