Dedicated to Freud and inspired by reading as a revelatory of imagination, the Sigmund collection consists of two pieces of furniture: a daybed and a bench. The day-bed, for lying down, as a piece of furniture, promises space to contemplate and reflect in an introspective way. The bench, based on the same aesthetic concept, completes the collection. To stay true to this search for inner honesty, the design of this collection reveals its construction method. The seat is padded with shaped polyurethane and polyester fiber and covered in fabric or leather and is suspended on a light metal structure, lacquered in the colors of the Arflex collection. Brass screws are single and selected details, bright and precious, the union between the different elements.
