Natalia Triantafylli and Andrew Pierce Scott are London-based designers and investigative makers with a shared fascination with material culture and the history of objects. For this collection of lighting, they worked together to create a synthesis that blends together the delicate nature of porcelain with organic structures of blackened and waxed steel. Natalia’s pleated porcelain shades evoke fragility creating a soft, organic diffusion of light. Andrew is creating structures with sheets of mild steel: a material which at first seems rigid and cold, but upon manipulation begins to offer up its fluid determination.
