The Origin collection is based on a dream the artist had in which she was kneeling in an immense open meadow, just after the formation of the earth.  The sun was soft, warm, and high in the sky, and hundreds of animals and birds were quietly grazing; as she watched them, she had a feeling of complete, quiet euphoria. The animals had some similarities to contemporary creatures, however at the same time they were unidentifiable, as they clearly came from a primordial place and time. Their fur, size, and features had an unfamiliar quality. Some of the animals were the size of dinosaurs, her physical body small by comparison, and yet they were not threatening. All were content, all were free, and she had the sense that she had been in this place for a very long time, and that it had never been inhabited by other humans. It was a feeling of perfect harmony and solitude.
