This petal sconce was derived from CCKW's 2022 custom chandelier for David Geffen Hall in Lincoln Center. It references the tradition in ancient Roman Pentecostal Mass, wherein rose petals were dropped from the Pantheon’s oculus to symbolize the descent of the Holy Spirit.
