2.4 is a cast resin chair with a copper skeleton. Structurally speaking, it is a hybrid system: tension forces are transferred through the copper skeleton; compression forces are transferred through the cast resin shape. 2.4 chairs are cast sequentially in layers on their side, so an endless variety of opaque and transparent color combinations is possible. A limited edition of six 2.4 chairs were produced in 2003.
