The Monk’s side table consist of three simple parts, which is a tabletop, support, and base made of bronze, to become a single mass. It is a side table, also those are being solid material and seamless form exist like a piece of art. The tabletop is designed with a gentle rising curve, giving a soft impression to the hard metal materials, and beaded edge decoration is used to achieve an Eastern aura. We used Japanese casting techniques, to utilize a free and delicate beautiful formative art to create furniture.
