Building upon his breakout ceramic lighting series, Roinestad has expanded on his previous collection in terms of form and complexity. Compiled of ceramic stoneware pieces reminiscent of Bauhaus designer Oskar Schlemmer’s silhouettes, the chandelier reinterprets traditional components - column, stem pieces and filial - in the artist’s chosen medium. Roinestad’s artistic journey is front and center as is his singular ability to synthesize divergent aesthetics in a thoroughly original way.
