The True Blue ceramic lamps are beautiful utility objects and works of art. The monochrome ultramarine pigment used for the lamps bears a resemblance to Yves Klein. Every lamp is unique and varies slightly in color and size while the lampshades are made from hand-painted fabric. The inspiration comes from among other sources Pre-Columbian terracotta works and ancient Japanese craft traditions, including special glazing techniques and raku firing.
