An open faced mold is used so that the back of the sconce can be molded into a specific shape to contain all the electronic parts while the top is randomly formed by the "caviar" falling as it may.  The prismatic effect, unique to each light, creates an otherworldly effect; a true combination of technical innovation and pure imagination. Geology Tables are made by splitting various stones in half and bringing the face to a high polish in order to reveal the composition of minerals hidden inside. The individual stones are assembled like a puzzle into a bricolage surface that is supported by a complex network of steel. Each unique stone is set like a jewel in an armature made specifically to hold it.
