POSITION REPORTS TO: Director of Operations

About the Role:
We are seeking an energetic and skilled individual to lead and enhance our warehouse and logistical operations. This critical role involves overseeing inventory management, ensuring efficient shipment logistics, and collaborating with sales and exhibition teams to support their needs. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years experience handling artwork and/or design. The ideal candidate will work at a fast pace, maintain high standards and implement best practices in all operational processes in partnership with wider operational teams. The ideal candidate also has demonstrated managerial experience working with teams and unique spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
Logistics Management: Administer the documentation and strategic planning for incoming and outgoing shipments from warehouse. Maintain precise inventory records and ensure effective organization within the warehouse.
Installation Support: Assist and manage warehouse crew who handle the setup of furniture and lighting, and coordinate the shipping of installation materials from warehouse to all gallery locations.
Quality Control: Enforce and execute condition reports according to our Logistical Inspection Policy. Uphold top-quality standards through careful handling, wrapping, and storage of items.
Shipping and Packaging: Ensure compliance with packaging requirements and shipment guidelines.
Client services: Coordinate private viewings for clients at warehouse, product requests from internal stakeholders and client and carrier collections from warehouse.
Team Oversight: Direct and manage a dedicated team of warehouse and transport personnel, including delivery staff, drivers, and installers (5-6 individuals). Design and implement schedules and task assignments. Lead team meetings, touch bases and facility reviews and other HR needs.
Warehouse Facility Oversight: Create and oversee a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse environment. Develop and implement an inventory control system and organizational practices. Work with warehouse assistant supervise to manage supply orders.
Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and document deliveries and inventory movements by updating the required systems. Provide reporting on warehouse spending on facility and warehousing operations.
Training: Educate team members on organizational systems, protocols, and procedures, with emphasis on supplemental packing and handling training.
Repair Management: Collaborate with internal teams, artists, designers, and external vendors for necessary repairs of items in warehouse. Process internal record keeping related to repairs.
Project Support: Contribute to various departmental and interdepartmental projects as needed to support organizational objectives.
Additional Tasks: Perform other responsibilities as required to achieve organizational goals.

Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced and detail-oriented setting. Interested in continuously improving internal systems with Director of Operations.
Expertise: Knowledgeable in handling, packing, and managing diverse types of inventory, including art and design.
Communication: Possesses excellent communication skills and attention to detail for interactions with clients and team members. Ability to problem solve and navigate onsite issues with the experience to know when to escalate problems to supervisor.
Reliability: Consistently punctual and proactive in addressing and solving problems.
Physical Capability: Ability to carry 40 pounds of varying size and shape up to a distance of 90 feet. Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach overhead
Equipment Use: Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach overhead * Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, jbars, dollies and other necessary warehouse equipment
System Knowledge: Familiarity with Netsuite, SalesForce, or similar art management systems.

Compensation:
