JOB TITLE: Sales/Account Representative
JOB LOCATION: Gallery In-Person (NY, LA, or SF)
POSITION REPORTS TO: Regional Sales Manager
Position Description:
The Account Representative creates and manages relationships with clients in an effort to achieve sales and increase long-term connections with clients on behalf of the business.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Own a weekly calendar of meetings with new and returning TFP clients (complete a minimum of 25 outside trade meetings per quarter (approx. 2 meetings weekly)
- Dedicate time weekly to prospecting and new customer acquisition
- Work with your allocated clients to understand their approach to buying and their internal structure to best service their needs
- Manage the sales cycle from initial contact to delivery, working with internal team
members to keep your clients orders on track and on time
- Learn and effectively utilize internal systems, processes and procedures.
Key Qualifications for Success:
- Continually educating yourself on the industry in the world of interiors and design
- Being open to change and constructive criticism
- Positive thinking and attitude towards all aspects of work
- Solutions-oriented and able to troubleshoot
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Quick learner and ability to absorb information coherently
- Timely and thoughtful follow-up to create trust and strong relationships with your
accounts.
- Excellent time management skills
- Great written and verbal communication skills
Objectives for Success:
- Achieve a minimum of $120K monthly in sales
- Prepare and develop customized trade meeting materials for off-site presentations
- Develop knowledge of our represented artists, makers and manufacturers
