James Rigler presents brand new works from an ongoing series in which he uses a basic vocabulary of simple, geometric forms to create a wide range of different monumental, comic objects. They aim to occupy the curious middle-ground between function and ornament, the architectural and the domestic, grandiosity and kitsch. All pieces were hand-built in his studio in Glasgow, Scotland.”
