Katie Kimmel is an artist working in The Mojave Desert, California. She received her BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2015 where she studied ceramics, video and painting. Katie has poetically described her new series of dog chairs as “a dumb dog with a dent in it’s head.”
