Los Angeles–based artist Adam D. Miller produces ceramics adorned with pictorially expressive imagery that engages as much with printmaking traditions as with the ceramic forms themselves. In Miller’s work, chromatically complex and compositionally layered images merge with the subtly textured surfaces of the ceramic pieces, creating objects that are both visually and materially dynamic.
