DUDD LITE

New York May 12 - June 26, 2026

DUDD HAUS, the Philadelphia-based collective, The Future Perfect, and Bocci present DUDD LITE, a group exhibition of more than 120 artist-designed nightlights installed throughout The Future Perfect’s West Village townhouse.

Drawn from an open call that received nearly 400 submissions, the final selection reflects a broad cross-section of contemporary practice. Spanning emerging voices alongside established artists, the exhibition captures a wide range of approaches to form, material, and narrative. Each participant contributes a single nightlight, distilling their sensibility into an object that exists somewhere between function and sculpture.

Long associated with comfort and domestic routine, the nightlight is reimagined in this exhibition as a site of experimentation. From reimagined everyday objects to narrative-driven works, DUDD LITE embraces a wide spectrum of approaches, elevating the humble night light into something poetic and unexpectedly expressive. Across the exhibition, the nightlight becomes less a tool than a prompt, an invitation to consider how light shapes perception, how objects carry memory, and how even the most modest forms can be reimagined through artistic intent.

The DUDD LITE exhibition was made possible by Bocci’s 22 System, a suite of electrical devices that integrate with any architectural finish. Each work was installed using the 22 System, allowing the nightlights to be securely and seamlessly embedded throughout the townhouse.

DUDD LITE is on view at The Future Perfect’s New York gallery until June 26.
