His work is evoked by the spirit of the moment. Driven by conception, a love story, a poem, or a memory, a muse. He works from an “Art First” approach— “Even if what I am creating is intended to be a product of sort, furniture or lighting, Everything is Art First...and then the rest. Make it useful? Comfortable? Shippable?"

His effort is to create a unique silhouette that occupies space as an anomaly within its interior. To make “All Space Sacred”, each piece takes on a one-of-a-kind quality. Set with its own unique intention. Establishing an importance on the position it is ultimately placed. A sense of timelessness. An ancient history. Working with natural materials such as wood, steel, brass, leather, and glass, he seeks a balance between furniture and sculpture, and feels successful when you cannot tell the difference.
