Bucketseat in Scrapwood

By Piet Hein Eek

Piet Hein Eek's Bucketseat in scrapwood is a classic armchair suitable for occasional use, and is part of his reclaimed series of furniture, made entirely from recycled wood collected near his studio in Eindhoven, Netherlands. This chair has a classic form with artfully arranged planks of reclaimed wood, crafted meticulously using traditional woodworking technique. Each piece is made from recycled materials and no two are exactly alike. This is especially pronounced in the "Fixated" version of the chair where the scrapwood material is left unpainted and finished with two coats of a transparent water based lacquer to seal and protect the piece. Please note that the colorways shown are only examples of possible timber colors with a fixated finish. Due to the found nature of the timber used, each piece will have a unique color combination. Piet Hein Eek will try to match requested colors palettes, but cannot guarantee an exact match. Please inquire directly for custom options, colors and finishes.
