The Elettra armchair and dining chair were among the first furniture pieces destined for offices and public spaces created by Arflex back in the mid 1950s. The pieces hail from the design of B.B.P.R, the Italian studio formed in 1932 by the architects, city planners and designers, Gian Luigi Banfi, Ludovico Barbiano of Belgioioso, Enrico Peressutti and Ernesto Nathan Rogers.
Like Arflex’s other seminal pieces - which combine a deft blend of aesthetic appeal and technological innovations - the chairs remain as relevant today as they were in 1954. Chairs feature frames in chrome-plated tube or black metal. Back and seat cushions with metal structure covered with flexible polyurethane foam. Fully removable covers, except for leather version. Available to order online upholstered in fabric as pictured. Please inquire directly for additional finishes and fabric options.
