Duysen’s new seating system for Arflex, Cousy, embodies all those principles – a modern, yet alluring sofa that meets the disparate needs of modern life. The Cousy, produced by the rigorous craftsmen of Arflex, has been created in various versions: a sofa in three different sizes; an armchair; a pouf; and a chaise lounge. A solid beechwood structure is covered with high-tech polyurethane foam and fibre cover. The backrest and the rigid and small-sized armrests welcome large cushions stuffed with polyurethane foam and feathers (they are fully removable except in leather). The result: a sofa system distinguished by its slick, timeless aesthetic that offers ultimate versatility in a wide range of interior environments.
