This is a low table consisting of a tabletop, its supporting frame and legs. The edged top and frame, which are carved from solid wood, are designed to be separated by a thin slit. This subtle slit reduces visual thickness, and, to ensure that the product as a whole does not lose its sense of cohesiveness, every edge is chamfered in a curved shape. The table is finished with care, and everything from its top to edges is hand polished after assembly to ascertain it has the right feel.
