Sculptural sandcast brass bookends designed by Carl Auböck II in 1948, still made in the original Vienna workshop by his descendants using the same mould. Hand-finished with polished flat faces and black patinated surfaces. The biomorphic form is reminiscent of shapes found in nature — a hallmark of mid-century Modernist design. Stamped with the Auböck workshop signature.
