Identifying with Japanese POP (kitsch) and US cultural (kitsch) the formality of Michiko Sakano's background continues to expand through a diversity of form, color, and shape to communicate with her audience. Seeing her commissioned work as an extension of her installation work, Michiko has created lightings and chandeliers for Isadore Design, been represented at Clio, has collaborated work with Lindsey Adelman Studio and completed fabrication for Jorge Pardo's glass work.
