Part of Ziperstein’s ongoing Architectural Barnacles series, Jug 1 – Mint and Jug 2 – Green translate the geometry of Art Deco architecture into vessel form. Each jug is defined by a stepped body, its tiered silhouette recalling a stylized façade. Extruded components, formed with a custom dye, attach to the stepped structure like interlocking puzzle pieces. The applied elements read as barnacles clinging to an architectural fragment, weathered by the tides.
