The first piece of Balmaceda's Jardines collection is a hand-knotted rug made by artisans in Nepal. This design reinvents the notion of the garden as a pictorial composition in which color, texture and movement dialogue in an organic way, the result of a creative process that transcends botany to enter the oneiric. This piece translates the fluidity of nature into a textile structure that evokes shadows, light and the sensation of walking through an imagined landscape.
