The third piece in Balmaceda's Jardines collection is a rug that explores the subtlety of the landscape through materiality. Unlike other pieces in the series, this design disfigures contrasts by using a palette of similar tones, where the difference emerges through the texture and interaction of the fibers, the combination of leather, allo, jute and wool creates a tactile dialogue in which each material brings its own nuance, from softness to roughness. A silent garden, where time and light subtly transform its appearance, inviting a paused contemplation.
