NIGHTBLOCKS is a series of eight one-of-one cast rubber night lights that transform the familiar plug-in light into something monolithic and prismatic. Cast individually in translucent polyurethane rubber, each piece diffuses and holds light within a dense glowing mass, producing subtle variations in color, opacity, and luminosity. Titled as individual “Walks,” the works reflect on night lights as objects for moving through darkness.
Together, the eight pieces read as a system of variations—shifting in scale, density, and luminosity—best experienced as a continuous field rather than isolated objects. These are not simply sources of illumination, but small structures for moving through darkness.
