Cadence is a new wallpaper collection by Athena Calderone for Calico Wallpaper, inspired by the quiet beauty of aged natural materials and originally created for her Tribeca apartment. Developed in collaboration with a French artisan and decorative painter, the designs combine hand rendered artwork with detailed scans of natural textures to create depth, warmth, and subtle variation. Soft seam lines reference historical paneling while maintaining a restrained composition, resulting in an ethereal wallcovering that feels both timeless and contemporary.
