USM

In 1961 he commissioned one of the most influential Swiss architects of the 20th century, Fritz Haller, to design a new type of flexible building that could accommodate both the administration of the company and also adapt to various manufacturing processes, while being able to evolve over time with the rapid development of the company.

Once the new USM factory opened, Paul Schärer Jr., realized that traditional wooden furniture was inconsistent with the functionalist aesthetic of the buildings. Together, he and Fritz Haller developed the USM Haller fitting system, which has since become an international benchmark for furniture.

The Quick Ship collection featured at The Future Perfect offers a distinct selection of pre-built USM Haller furniture ranging from modern nightstands and media storage to functional home office pieces.
