Ian Collings’ Carved Walnut Side Table 01 pairs a broad, irregular crown with a narrowing pedestal base. Deep fissures travel through the polished walnut like shadows held within the grain, revealing the pressure, growth, and compression carried by the material. Its cast-pewter top evokes a pool discovered on the forest floor, glowing beneath the light of a full moon.
