Yucca Stuff’s Brazos Mirror is dominated by a strong classical arch, which is formed with solid wood voussoirs. To achieve this effect, the mirror was built like a stone arch, and the protruding keystone hints at the method of construction. When creating a mirror of this design, scale is always an issue – too small appears insignificant, while oversized can be imposing. Yucca Stuff arrived at proportions which make a strong visual statement whilst still being appropriate for a residence. The mirror is a new heirloom – where sophisticated details, simple shapes and unexpected details come together.
