Shore Studios presents “Little Bootie” a miniature version of their handwoven footwear, reimagined as a Christmas ornament. The piece plays on the tradition of hanging stockings at Christmas, translating their familiar boot forms into a much smaller and playful scale. Each bootie is woven entirely by hand using the same materials and techniques as Shore Studio’s furniture and footwear, with a loop at the back of the ankle for hanging. Soft, tactile, and slightly unexpected, the ornament brings a familiar holiday object into the material language of Shore Studios. The series consists of 12 unique ornaments, each made in a different rope colorway, creating a varied collection while keeping the same woven bootie form.
