Alexis & Ginger’s Floral Sun Side Table continues the studio’s ongoing research into the intimate rituals and objects of the dressing table, from combs and beadwork to ancient jewelry. Its carved, rounded wooden frame draws from scaraboid rings, worn first by the ancient Egyptians and later by the Greeks as symbols of rebirth, often engraved with personal seals or emblems of strength. Delicate glass droplets gather across its jewel-like surface, held within a curved wooden structure that recalls both the silhouette of an ancient ring and the sun.
