The two established their studio in Brooklyn, NY in 2023 after meeting at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). Their shared practice is deeply rooted in process and a passion for hand craft to evoke stories through abstraction and composition of materials. Their work celebrates traditional forms of female making, such as tapestry, embroidery, and lace making, by embracing details found in these crafts and reimagining them in textile, wood, metal, and glass. Each piece is created as a keepsake and reflects their appreciation of the nuanced details of architecture, tapestry, and their intrinsic histories.
