Ian Collings’ Stone Object 02 carves travertine into a continuous, twisting loop. Grooves sweep across its surface, recalling the spiraling architecture of a shell or the orbit of a celestial body. The open center frames light and shadow, allowing absence to become part of the sculpture itself.
