Kristin Victoria Barron

Kristin Victoria Barron is an American designer based in Baix Emporda, Spain, whose multidisciplinary practice moves across sculpture, lighting, vessels, and decorative objects. Since founding her studio in 2005, Barron has developed a body of work rooted in dream imagery, mythic symbolism, and the psychological resonance of animal and archetypal forms. Her pieces begin in dream journals, where recurring images are translated through repeated sketches before taking shape as sculptural objects.

Working with a romantic and materially rich vocabulary that includes brass, burled wood, cast bronze, ceramic, marble, and alabaster, Barron approaches each object as a site of transformation between the imagined and the physical. Her work occupies the threshold between fine art and design, where function remains secondary to atmosphere, symbolism, and formal presence. Defined by a quixotic blend of the mythical and modern, Barron's practice reflects an ongoing inquiry into the unconcious, the ritual life of objects, and the expressive possibilities of hand-finished craftmanship.

In addition to The Future Perfect, Barron’s designs have appeared at Design Miami as well as fine art and design galleries across the world. She has turned her eye to the interior design world as well, with a series of private residences along with commercial projects for clients including Nokia, The New York Times and Wonderland Boutique.
