Lindsey Adelman’s Illuminated Mobile 15 belongs to the first series of one-of-a-kind mobiles that preceded her Hieros Gamos mobiles. Illuminated Mobile 15 features brass, glass, bronze, chain, and horsehair in a composition that explores movement, tension, and counterbalance. A pale aqua globe and luminous white glass spheres extend from the slender brass framework, joined by a shallow bronze form, cascading chains, and a long horsehair tassel.
